Welcome to MH Counselling Service

Life has a way of presenting challenges that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

As an experienced counsellor, I am here to provide you with a confidential

and supportive space to help you navigate whatever you are facing.

You may be experiencing the symptoms of anxiety or depression. Perhaps

you are dealing with a bereavement or struggling with other significant

events in your life such as abuse, menopause or the end of a relationship?

The above are just a few examples of how I have helped clients who have been affected in many different ways, leaving them with a range of emotions including a sense of hopelessness, low mood, fear, confusion or just of feeling “stuck.”

Counselling can help you to explore and gain a different perspective of what may be troubling you and causing emotional and pain or discomfort.

What to Expect in our Sessions

I offer face to face, online and telephone counselling.

My approach is one of warmth, empathy and a balance of support and gentle challenge.  By listening, without judgement, I aim to empower you to make sense of what you are facing in order to start to create lasting, positive change in your life.

My practice is based on a humanistic approach and depending on your specific needs, together, we can explore a range of ways to help you to navigate that change.

I can offer both short term directive support such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or long-term support using more creative approaches such as Gestalt Therapy.  As a Humanistic Counsellor, I will work with you

to understand the best approach that works for you - with you being my priority.
